Keep Plural Magazine Alive! Sign This

Dear Everyone,

Please, please PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE help keep Plural Magazine alive. I couldn't bear it if it died. It is one of the only magazines in the English language for the expat and anglophone community living in Roumania (and available online for those outside the country) which is intelligently written and magnificently translated. Adi Solomon and his colleagues do the most fabulous job and the very idea that such a thing could be axed is simply criminal. Please click on the link below (icr@icr.ro ) and help keep it alive. There are ample amputations going on in Bucharest these days, ample assassinations of beautiful houses, patrimony and respect for history - at least the Roumanian Cultural Institute should be making an effort with the middle word of its title: CULTURE.... something Roumania needs very much to radiate, especially now more than ever before. If the international community cannot understand Roumania, its spirit and its people, made easier and more available by publications such as Plural, then the future looks just as bleak as the present... A major database of Romanian culture and civilization, including more than 1800 articles, 850 authors, thousands of pictures and other useful data, may have to be abandoned because the Romanian Cultural Institute has decided to discontinue the project. You can help to keep it alive and expanding by dropping a line at icr@icr.ro.
