Snow again!
Dear All,
Guess what? Snow is falling by the bucket load outside. This morning it was springtime, and in just one day we're catapulted back to winter again. 15cm of white powdery stuff already, apparently, but I didn't stop long enough to measure it. Rosie and I walked Lucia as far as str. Toamnei this evening and had to turn back as the wind was so strong poor little dog couldn't go any further. Sooooooo cold. Of course, I don't have to tell you that Bucharest has ground to a halt. The traffic is dreadful and the girls and I have decided that our Chinese meal will have to wait for friendlier weather. We're all staying in tonight under our quilts with tvs on.
As the snow began, I was having a Reiki session. Very beneficial it was, too. I paid a most ridiculous 5Ron (just over a euro) for the first seance and the others from this point on will be 20Ron (6 euros roughly). I think even I can manage that! Mihai, the Reiki guy, was really very impressive and diagnosed everything perfectly. Tantza was so excited I was there that she couldn't sit still. She kept topping up my delicious green tea, asking me if I understood everything, adjusting my clothes as I lay there and she even assisted with laying her hands on me. She was very good at it, her hands giving off a great deal of heat. I was so touched by her attention and kindness. All this came through Cela, her daughter, who's friends with Mihai, and the 'cabinet' is one of the rooms off the corridor behind my bathroom, so I don't have far to go. As I sit here typing, I realise I can cross my right leg over my left which I haven't been able to do for some months. Result! And my goodness, how tired I feel, as I used to after magnetism with Marie Luce in Paris. i do hope its the beginning of a relief from the constant nag of backache which has been a real nuisance since I arrived here in Bucharest. It's better when I'm with Lidia and Marian in Brasov as the air is dryer I guess, but here it's been a blip on an otherwise cloud-free horizon. Mihai also knows a very good physiotherapist he thinks it would be worth seeing, so I shall give it a whirl.
And that's all for now.
Love, Sarah xox
