SOS from the horses at Urleasca, Braila: They still need our urgent help

The horses of Letea condemned to slaughter have been rescued. Now in Urleasca, Braila, they still need your help.

Please do not abandon the Letea horses who have so recently escaped slaughter.

They need:

1. Ointment for their wounds; vitamins, antibiotics, IV for hydration and other medicines required to get all the horses back on their feet.

2. Milk for their foals (URGENT)

3. Alfalfa, salt, straw and all foods for their survival.

4. Volunteers willing to go to Urleasca-Braila to help them recover, ensure their security and help with their feeding.

5.Troughs, buckets for water and grain ...

Saving them from slaughter was just the first step. Their health and recovery are now the priority.

Transportation needs to be organised for the delivery of the above needs.

Please ignore ALL other various appeals from diverse sources. There has been huge media coverage given to the appalling treatment and the horses' subsequent rescue and there are certain individuals happy to jump on the band-wagon.  Please be sure to check any sources THOROUGHLY before helping in any way. It is outrageous that some people make no qualms of profiting from the tragedy of living souls to make money.
