Whatever way you look at it, Florentina's continual incarceration stinks. It stinks of injustice, it stinks of corruption - there is no sense in it, neither legally nor morally...someone at the top, I keep reading in various blogs, comments and opinions has got to the judges. It certainly suits the real culprits to keep Florentina under lock and key, to continue with the condamnation and defamation of her professionalism and character for it keeps the heat and attention off them. The news today is that Simona Parvu's request for Florentina Carstea's release from custody has been denied. I do not understand it, cannot make sense of it...while Dima roams around free as a bird on grounds of health and age, this woman remains behind bars. It is unthinkable, unjust and incomprehensible. I just woke up to the news that Vasile Dima has been released...and Florentina Carstea is still in custody. I do not understand this, I cannot accept it - it is a travesty of justice and a joke to the whole system of responsibility. While Florentina did her job for 12 years flawlessly and during a 12 minute absence out of a 12h shift, a fire broke out. Why did the fire break out? Because scumbag Dima didn't do his job. And so today, we finally see the arrest of one Vasile Dima, head of maintenance at Giulesti, a far more guilty party than Florentina Carstea, for he was responsible for training staff for evacuation in the event of a fire, the equipment itself, inspections and fire prevention materials... Gross negligence in every one of these tasks listed in his job description, if I am not mistaken. For today's update on Florentina Carstea's arrest and the continuing investigations into the fire at Giulesti Maternity hospital (sic Marius Iacob), please see today's edition of Nine O'Clock at THIS link. She knew she was wrong for having left the ward for the twelve minutes quoted (but then again, anyone would have to go to the WC at some point over a 720 minute time period) and she was scared. And this video from Pro-TV - a reconstruction of events... the burnt out incubators and those tiny little fingers and toes... I wonder what the point is of such a reconstruction, which will cost 60,000 euros? We know how the fire started, where, why it was allowed to go berserk and what went wrong.
